Hi, my name is Stuart and I'm a 26 year old rhythm guitarist and am looking to join an indie/rock band to start jamming with, with a definite view to be gigging the Manchester circuit sooner rather than later.

I've been playing for six years now and four of those have been as a member of my local church band. I do my own songwriting as well as having my own equipment (a Johnson Telecaster copy, a Guild Les Paul copy and Marshall DFX30 amp).

I am a very flexible musician and can play both electrically and acoustically.

I mainly play pop/indie/rock style music and some of my influences include David Gray, Stereophonics, Ray Lamontagne, Maroon 5, Green Day, Blink 182, Snow Patrol, Razorlight, Kings of Leon, etc... but would be interested to hear other stuff and have my creativity opened up even further!

I don't have my own transport yet, but am learning to drive so hopefully I can remove that obstacle before too long, if you know what I mean!
