Covers band experience:

From 2010, performing with Something For The Weekend (4 piece pop rock covers band, based in North Essex). Play well known songs from the 1950s up to the present day in pubs and at functions. Artists covered include The Beatles, The Kinks, James Brown, Bon Jovi, Blondie, The Killers, Kings of Leon and many more. Each gig, 35-40 songs are performed.


Original bands experience:

The most recent band were called Mzuri (4 piece original pop rock band based in Ipswich, Suffolk). Formed in late 2010 and influenced by bands such as 'The Goo Goo Dolls', the band recorded one song but decided to cease in September 2011 when two members relocated.

The majority of my performing and recording experience has been with the 5 piece original Brit-rock band 'Krish' based in London, when I was a member from early 2006 to late 2010. During these 5 years, Krish played on the London, Essex and University music scenes working our way up to gigs at 100 Club, Clapham Grand and 229 in London and supporting the band 'Ash'. The band recorded in the studio several times (each time to click). Also, I was the gig booker for the band and was involved with the band's online marketing.


Favourite drummers:
Taylor Hawkins / Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters), Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), John Bonham (Led Zeppelin) and Jeff Porcaro (Toto / session). This list is not exhaustive as I like any drummers with a good groove, musicality and hold a solid foundation in the band.
