The China Syndrome are a 1970's/early 1980's influenced rock band (Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, Guns 'N' Roses)

We are currently on the lookout for a new bassist with hopefully a few years of experience on their instrument although gigging experience isn't essential. Current age range of the band is 22 - 27. Having your own transport is however essential.

We have had a number of gigs in the Plymouth and Exeter area and we currently have a 45 minute set list ready to go and we are looking to gig as soon as we have found the right person for the job. Our current bassist will be leaving at the end of October but he will be tabbing out all of his basic basslines with the emphasis on the new bassist just bringing his own style and strengths to the line up.

We do like to have fun with what we are doing but at the same time do run a serious outfit.
