BIOGRAPHY - The story so far....

GOLDENEYE are a modern cabaret / covers duo playing classic (mostly) female vocal material. Formed in the autumn of 2005 through Musofinder, Al and Andrea found they had a mutual regard for vintage female pop of different genres and styles. They seek to present classic material with a unique twist, the twist being that all the backing is electronic. No guitars or acoustic instruments feature in their music. Songs featured during their set include classics by an eclectic mix of female stars, from Tina Turner to Dusty Springfield, Alison Moyet to Cilla Black, and Shirley Bassey to Madonna.

MEET THE ARTISTS

Al is responsible for GOLDENEYE's overall sound. He has worked extensively in music in London for the last twenty years and has been involved with several acts, including the acclaimed trio Company of which he was a member in the early nineties. His live work also includes the former covers duo Souvenir. Al also works as a freelance rugby league writer.

Andrea provides the stunning vocals for GOLDENEYE. Heavily involved in music and theatre around London for over fifteen years, she has recorded three albums of cover material. Andrea is also very active in amateur dramatic productions. She works in administration.
