Im a drummer with varied styles, looking for a like-minded bunch of people to write and/or play with! I would hate to put myself on this as playing one genre, as I play blues, rock, metal, prog, experimental-anything!
Metal's vague I know, but I'm into anything from Cryptopsy to Iron Maiden to Meshuggah to Kreator.
I have 7 years experience on the drums - doesn't sound like much but I used to live on a tiny island so I played alot.
Influences are anything from Led Zeppelin, Dream Theater, Meshuggah, Pantera, Cryptopsy, RATM, Lamb of God, iron Maiden, Pink Floyd, Rush - etc etc etc!!!
I have a kit made up of old bog-standard pieces and some new decent shells. It's a 9-piece with 8 Sabian Pro-Sonix cymbals, but I plan on expanding whenever the money's there:-
8,10,12,13" rack toms, bongos, two 16" floor toms, a 14" snare and a 22" bass, with a big 3-sided rack.
Also I've got a standard size Roland electric kit for practice at home, but it's a great thing, probably better then the acoustic kit - fully MIDI compatible etc. One on these days ill combine the 2 to create a monster!
I don't have a car I'm afraid, but im willing to travel around Glasgow (within reason).
