Music Experience:

Over ten years playing experience covering pop, jazz, blues and rock. Band includes Big band, small band (funk/ jazz), pop, metal, indie. Includes recording experience.

Currently involved in function band playing an ecclectic mix.

Able to access a versatile range of sounds with a Gibson Explorer, Fender Stratocaster, Takamine acoustic, and pedal board.

Able to read music.

Organic feel for music and ability to improvise creatively and competantly.

Influences range from Jimi Hendrix, Ronny Jordan, Eric Jonson, Allan Holdsworth, but extend beyond the 'guitarosphere' to include rythmic elements of Funk and Hip-Hop, the songwriting of Blur, the Trumpeter Christian Scott, and the many forms of electronic music that permeate music today. (Trip Hop, Breaks, D&B).

I am highly versatile, and have a keen grasp of all common styles, yet can adapt to new styles quickly and efficiently.

Very enthusiastic and easy to work with. Keen to meet up with jazz musicians to exchange jazz vibes!
