Hey, I'm Raphaël and I'm a bassist, but there's a load more you need to know about me below.

INSTRUMENTS
- Bass: started in 1987
- Vox: 1985 - predominantly backing vocals
- Violin: started in around 1985
- Guitar: original 1st instrument, but preferred bass so switched - can play the odd chord
- Drums: I dabble

INFLUENCES
- Wide range from early Classical music, through to Hardcore Metal (please enquire for more details)

EXPERIENCE
- Mainly in function bands since I started playing but have also been in several originals bands - see links under "BANDS" heading.

QUALIFICATIONS (which mean nothing)
- BMus Music and Sound Recording at the University Of Surrey, hence proficient at all aspects of music and its production
- Grade 8 (Trinity College) Violin

NOTES
- Although I have a penchant for heavier music, I am extremely versatile thanks to my vast function band experience playing anything from Jazz to Heavy Rock. I'm particularly into my 70s funky disco (cheese as some might say) at the moment for example.
