Currently in a band called The Words..... we're a Manchester outfit, with quite a following, this is a very serious project.

we have been extensively gigging all across the north since november 2006 and have racked up over 100 gigs in that short period. consequently we have picked quite a following along the way and we're starting to get noticed and get our name about.. we have interest from some indie labels and already have gigs lined up all the way up until feb 2008... we've had some great support slots, but we dont namedrop for our own gain...

we try to gig 2/3 times a week and when we're not playing, we rehearse or write... we're known as one of rthe tightest bands in manchester and very hardworking, every show we do we pick up more fans and sell merch.. so we must be doing something right..

now i'll tell you now, we're not one of these bands that just rest on the laurels (is that how you spell it? after a great gig and sit back and think wow arent we great, we know how this music business works and we work our arses off getting better and getting more exposure, we've done radio interviews/acoustic sets, allsort really..... basically, we're not your typical band who do one gig a month and have no idea whats going on, the type of band who just invite their mates for a piss up... we're 110% 24/7.. if you wanna make it a career (which we will), thats how it needs to be... this is serious stuff, we wanna make people dance and play real music!! not just same generic rubbish thats in the charrts at the moment, real music, for real people that can really move someone...

after all this, we are up for a laugh and my god do we have fun, but by the same token, we work f@cking hard, so we deserve a smoke and a giggle every now again... dont you think so
