I'm a talented drummer, 24, working in nottingham. Have my own acoustic and electric kits inc. double pedals for when the situation arises. I'm also a skilled guitarist (learnt lots of metallica in my teens) and played bass. I also used to DJ house music and i'm technical enough to know the basics of sound engineering.

I'm the sort of drummer that doesn't mind playing simple stuff if it sounds good - I don't make things unnecessarily complicated, although I am certainly capable of playing complex stuff (my last band covered some dream theater / porcupine tree). I'm more interested in the music being good than making the drums stand out. Being trained to grade 5 from the start (when i was 13), I have a solid foundation in the technical knowledge of drumming and the structure of music, and I also know how to control my speed live, which is a rare ability these days.

My personality is sociable and down to earth and i'm easy to get on with. I do take music seriously though, and in my previous bands i've done the homework / practicing. I take constructive criticism well and can help organisation / songwriting if needed.
