The new, North and East London based band INVASION are a massively heavy bass-less trio made up of two-thirds girls. They play catchy, fast, riff-based tracks with unselfconscious vocal pyrotechnics to accompany the various build and release sections and break-downs. They might be said to sound like the Gossip singer (not an influence!) on acid fronting a stoned Metallica playing QOTSA songs too fast (and too short). Or as one kid said; 'you sound like a heavy metal Yeah Yeah Yeah's.'

We have insane industry buzz. It would be embarrassing to list it all. We need some new tracks recorded with our new singer (ex-DO ME BAD THINGS) getting great gigs, manager, lawyer, stylist when necessary, artists etc etc.

John Kennedy (XFM) plays us a lot and said...

"...this band are the metal assault that will sweep away all in their path. A small advance guerilla force two girls and one boy they're armed and dangerous. Sabbath style riffs bludgeon with power and murky melodies; drums pound ferociously and vocals pierce the skull, warping minds with their imagery. "Post-stoner thrash attack from the 22nd Century" is how they they describe it. Don't argue, just submit to the overlords, a new era is born!"
