Have been playing instruments since the age of 11. Am 24 and have been in jazz, classical, folk, choir groups throughout education. was shortlisted for the BBC radio2 young folk awards at the age of 12 with 3 friends, was the accompanying guitarist mainly, but also played bodhran (frame drum) we were an up and coming folk band. After that had experience in a couple of folk duos, one was guitar (me) and fiddle and guitar (me) and flute. After that i joined a community samba band for 5 years where i learnt about the vibrant energies and the many drums of samba origin. At the same time i decided to start to learn acoutic fingerstyle guitar and in the last year have decided to go further into developing this adding percussive techniques to my guitaring.

I play many instruments, including, fiddle, flute, bodhran, guitar, piano, whistles, piano accordion, congas, various samba percussion instruments. However my main instruments at present are guitar, bodhran and Surdo.

Am interested in joining or creating an open minded band. I am an acoustic musician but am more than happy to play alongside electric instruments. Very interested in fusion, and creating a unique sound and working with musicians with different influences to mine or the same (easy going)

I'm also interested in joining/creating a folk band in the same area as me. For this i would like to play bodhran. But i could play something else if it was needed.
