Hi we are The Long Goodbye, a alt.country/rock band based in Horsham/Brighton. Just finishing our debut album which we are intending to release in September/October. Gigs will follow, starting with Brighton/ London/ Sussex. We have rehearsal space, recording facilities, good songs, enthusiasm, and are 100% committed. Very easy going and up for fun but at the same time extremely serious about what we do. You could call us a real "feeling and emotions" band. We only do original material, loads of styles in there...quiet acoustic ballads to heavy distorted epics!
We are looking for a new rhythm section. A good, solid and creative drummer and a bass player who can sing harmonies. Also we'd like to find a violin player that can also play piano/hammond or a keyboard player who can play another instrument. Our main influences are Wilco, Neil Young, Ryan Adams, Jayhawks, Bright Eyes, Bonnie Prince Billy, Elliot Smith, Counting Crows.
We are genuine people with a genuine purpose and would like to find someone who's into it as much as we are. There will be paid gigs and good things happening but the main thing is, we want someone who's also going to become a good friend! alfiebernardi@hotmail.co.uk
