Hi, I'm Andy. I'm a 24 year old UK based drummer. I've been playing since I was 6, and have professional touring & studio experience since I was 13.

As well as session work I've also always had my own bands, as I think it's vital to keep your creativity alive...

My main interests are in live electronic music, rock, hip hop, dance & electro, funk and soul.

Some of my favoured musical influences include: The Cinematic Orchestra, Bat For Lashes, UNKLE, Gorillaz, Portishead, Tom Vek, Arcade Fire, Miles Davis, Bjork, Trail Of Dead, Acoustic Ladyland, MIA, !!!, QOTSA, John Coltrane, Roots Manuva, Beck, Electric Dr M, Deftones, The Roots, Herbie Hancock, The Doors, Fourtet, Squarepusher, and countless others....

Some of the festivals I have performed at include Glastonbury, V, O2 Wireless (London and Leeds), Isle of Wight, Bloom, Lattitude, Secret Garden Party, Electric gardens, Belladrum Tartan Heart, Leeds/Reading, and more.

I've also extensively toured the UK & Europe, including a support tour with Badly Drawn Boy.

I have played on tracks that have had airplay on Radio 1, MTV, MTV Dance, and loads of other radio/tv stations...

Some of the albums I've performed on include - Grandadbob's "Garden Of Happiness", Johnny Poindexter's "Place Your Trust in Empty Spaces", Ben Davies' "Looking in Your Direction", plus loads of other tracks for other people....

I have recorded two albums recently which are due for release in 2010.

I only use the best gear, and am currently using a full DW setup with Zildjian cymbals.
