My Name is Dave I'm 26 and I live in Edwinstowe near Mansfield in Nottinghamshire. I've been playing the guitar for about 10 years and I'm a proficient rhythm and lead player. I've played in various bands in the past, playing indie and rock covers I've also done a lot of open mic stuff.

I'm in the process of forming a covers band at the moment and just need to get a drummer to get up and running, but I'm still looking to join another band playing original material or covers.

My influences are pretty varied but I'll list a few of the bands I'm listening to at the moment: Radiohead, Arcade Fire , Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Brakes, British Sea Power, Oasis, Stereophonics, Pink Floyd, The White Stripes, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs etc etc.

I'd really like to join a band that is playing playing covers or writing own material. I've written a lot of songs in the past few years and have hundreds of riffs and ideas I could bring to any band.

Although I'm a pretty crappy singer I can sing certain things in tune and would gladly provide backing vocals.

I've got my own transport and I'm willing to travel for rehearsals and gigs etc.

I've also got plenty of equipment that's suitable for practices and gigs, I've got: A Fender Telecaster, Gibson SG and a lovely Turner elctro acoustic. I've also got a 75watt Line 6 Flextone III amp and have access to a Carlsbro PA system and Microphones that I used in a previous band.

Drummer Wanted for Nottinghamshire Based Rock and
Established musicians from the Nottinghamshire area looking to recruit a drummer to complete Indie/Rock covers band. We are all around 25 years old and have been playing music together and in various other bands for the past 10 years. We already have an extensive back catalouge of indie and rock songs from previous covers band and are ready to start gigging as soon as possible (already have a few gigs aranged). Two of our members (singer and guitarist) are from the (slightly) successful covers band Indiecisive and the other two are both talented(ish) blokes.
