I have been composing and performing my own songs for ten years now and I still love it. Singing and playing music is my favourite thing to do, and any opportunity I will always try and take!
I have a fantastic guitarist, and an excellent drummer in the band. I currently live in Leeds, working 9-5 and gigging in my spare time as much as possible. Once the band has been gigging for a while I aim to do it full time! .As a band we perform my songs and covers- from The Knife to A Perfect Circle to Led Zeppelin and Tracey Chapman. I enjoy collaborating with other musicians, different genres- soul, hip hop, electronic, rock, pop, funk, dance, metal, as well as acoustic stuff.
I'm also always interested in singing, playing keys and/or writing for other artists, and will always have a listen to new music delightedly. I also have Grade 8 Distinction Clarinet , and intend to start making use of that in the coming months. I have gigged with a Soul band in the past 'Within the Blood' (Hampshire based) , on my own, with a full band doing my stuff, and guest-appeared with The UK Blues Project (Berkshire based) a couple of times. Recorded at No Machine Studios, Wokingham, and Dead Parrot Studios, Morley. Both excellent for practice and recording purposes- I highly recommend them!
