I am a working drummer (both performance and tuition) who is always on the lookout to make new contacts, to gain additional experience and, naturally, for more work. Any style, any genre. All goes into the educative melting pot. Available for depping, sessions, functions, tours, shows, songwriting sessions, originals bands, anything really. I am extremely passionate about my instrument and work incredibly hard. Started on piano aged four, swapped that for the sticks at 13. Been playing ever since. I am based in the Southampton (South East) area, but have transport and am not afraid to use it.

I am very comfortable with a click and backing tracks as well as with charts and sight-reading.

My private education includes lessons with Bob Armstrong (my current tutor), Dave Hassell as well as guys like Andy Tween (Seth Lakeman, Pee Wee Ellis), Vinnie Lammi (Spice Girls, Mel C), John Maiden (Amy Winehouse, Lemar, Tricky) and Kevin O'Rourke (fantastic teacher and player - should be famous); my public education includes masterclasses with greats like Bill Bruford, Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Steve White (Paul Weller), Adrian Erlandsson (Cradle Of Filth) and an HDip (distinction) from the Brighton Institute of Modern Music (BIMM).

I have also been fortunate enough to work with guys like Jools Holland, Mint Royale, Jason Knight (Reef), Al Scott (The Levellers), Warren Chandler (Nelly Furtado) etc. I have played and sat-in for a myriad of national and international functions, corporate and tribute bands; have done many live gigs, sessions and tours for original bands ranging in styles from funk to metal, jazz to drum 'n' bass (and pretty much everything in between); musicals and shows; drum loops; drum programming; arranging; and music notation (transcription or turning your handwritten manuscript into a professional score or worksheet). I also dabble in hand percussion: my most recent acquisition being a cajón, which is fantastic for unplugged, folk and acoustic gigs. Plus a load of other stuff I have probably forgotten to include.

If you need another musician I have a pool of excellent players who I frequently work with and would highly recommend. Furthermore, I can recommend fantastic bands for any kind of occasion or event.
