Alright. Well I'm Blair, 17 and live in Halifax. (Leeds sort of area)

I've only been playing drums for a few years but I'm already working on my Grade 8 Rockschool exam. I have just recently taken my Grade 1 Tuned Percussion and Snare Drum exam (ABRSM Examboard (A fundermental Feat.)). It has given me a chance to get to play side drum, which I enjoy and competently sight read up to grade 5-6 standards.
My experiences include many school musicals and other school shows where I have had to play by "busking" it.

I'm in three bands at the moment, one called Pets With Tourettes (www.myspace.com/petswithtourettes) and
Sold His Soul (www.myspace.com/souldhissoul) and The Brooksbank Folk Ensemble (www.myspace.com/brooksbankfolkensemble) With these bands I have played in many pub sort of gigs and school concerts.
I play percussion in Calderdale's Orchestra, Wind Band and Jazz Orchestra.

My heart lies with Jazz and Rock music with Enter Shikari, National Youth Jazz Orchestra, Emery, The Sleeping, Arcitc Monkeys and Cherry Poppin' Daddies being only a few of my influences along with marching bands, preferably Scottish Marching bands. I can play various styles, read competently and improvise when needed.
