Rhythm Guitarist Needed in Stourbridge (West Midlands):

To apply for this position you must:

Be happy playing rhythm guitar.
Sometimes it's 4 chords, sometimes it's a riff, sometimes it's harmonising octave chords – if you want to play lead and be front of stage, please don't apply.
Have your own gear.
Amp, guitar and pedals (if used).
Be aged between 18 - 28.
Be gig ready, no inexperienced players please.
Be motivated and want to get somewhere with the music.
Be able to palm mute (Shockingly plenty of people can't!?!)

These skills would be great, but are not necessary:

Be able to sing backing vocals.
We're not looking for an amazing vocalist but the ability to sing a few notes would be excellent.

Be able to take the part given to them and improve on it.
We'll show you the basic part to a song, it's down to you to make it your own.

Have transport.
And I don't mean a skateboard/bicycle.

The ability to click track.
Not vital, but the willingness to learn IS.


About the band:
We're a 3 piece (wanting to be a 4 piece) Punk, Rock, Pop band. We've had a development deal, recorded 3 demos, gigged medium sized venues and had a small amount of airplay. We're tight, committed and driven – we think we're ready to take it to the next level and want someone to join us who's willing to work hard to get there.

Sounds similar to:
Feeder, Foo Fighters, Coldplay (early stuff), Jimmy Eat World.
