I'm Amie J, 22 yr old soul/blues/rnb/jazz/pop singer songwriter living in plymouth devon
I love all styles of music including soul,hiphop,jazz,rock,d n b,reggae, etc etc...
my voice has been compared to corinne bailey rae, amy winehouse and eryka badu, and the project im currently working on has been compared to a mark ronson kind feel (but to hear for yourself check out myspace)

Basically i'm working on an album with my good friend and producer aldo vanucci, we've just recorded a single goin to be released on good living record label which i did a radio interview for last week and has had fantastic feedback and response from some highly reguarded record labels/companies including catskills, hippo flex and warner bros, we are currently working on the album to hopfully release within the next 6-8 months , i will also hopefully be working with some other well known, accomplished producers on tunes for the album (not gonna name drop just yet).

What i need is a band to re create the sound live with freedom to interperatate and change up a little if need be. Band members will need to be commited, enthusiastic, able to pick things up reasonably quickly and learn by ear also it would be an extra advantage if your passionate about the same kind of styles as us but most of all you gotta love music and be truely dedicated to it.

(at the moment none of the tracks from the album are on my myspace, just old ones...excuse the poor production (my bad) but you should get a feel for what im about, also the producer im working with is in my top friends so check him out too to get a better idea of the sound)
