He had the honour of recording a demo for Sir Tom Jones called the The Price of Coal, written by hit songwriter Johnny Caesar, who wrote a hit for him called Come Home Rhondda Boy on the album Darlin' in the 80's.

Ian has also had the wonderful privilege of promoting TOM JONES' - The ROUTE of KINGS - PARTY IN THE PARK for Exposure Promotions in Hyde Park London. He had to sing to all the crowds in Oxford Street, Chelsea, Notting Hill, Park Lane and Kensington, promoting Tom's show with models and limousines. He finished the day singing to Tom's fans in Hyde Park an hour before the show from a security buggy!

Ian performed two shows in Dubai recently at the famous 6 STAR SHANGRI-LA Hotel for the Welsh Ex. Pats Association in the United Arab Emirates, and was immediately requested to return to Abu Dhabi next year and perform the show there.

THE Premier Tribute to Sir Tom Jones ( based on quantity and quality of gigs abroad - Ian performs abroad almost every month on average ). A wonderful singer and lookalike/soundalike, Ian has a great reputation as a real professional who always gets re-booked. He has also appeared on the Real Granada TV's Stars In Their Eyes - Live! UK Tour opening at Her Majesties Theatre - London, compered by Bradley Walsh and featuring Grand Final winners and heat winners from the famous TV Show - the shows lasted 9 weeks touring the UK.

He has also headlined on the No.1 Cruise Ship the Ocean Village in the Caribbean & Mediterranean 12 times and the Pride of Bilbao to Spain twice.

Ian has recently joined Joseph King and James Selfridge in the block-buster VIVA LAS VEGAS Tribute Show ( Elvis Presley, Tom Jones, Neil Diamond and Frank Sinatra together for the first time ), which has already been booked in the Lowther Pavilion, Melton and Prestwick Theatres.

He is the No.1 Tom Jones Tribute in Wales and has averaged over 40 shows a year as a Tribute Act in Tom Jones' homeland over the last 3 years, including 4 times at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff & Caerphilly Castle.
