A professional drummer based in London,i have been playing for ca 20 years.I enjoy a busy schedule on the London gig & function circuit. Although i'm normally booked to play jazz, i\'m also comfortable performing other styles i.e. pop, funk, soul & latin grooves. Im a great believer in playing for the song ,as opposed to playing for one-self,really listening to the melody,the bass lines,trying to find the right feel/groove the song. As well as performing with various people/bands i also teach the drums,both privately & at a performing arts centre in North London(NLPAC)...Occassionally i get offered some session work as well.
I am comfortable playing to a click track or pre-recorded music i.e. drum loops or synth pads.I can also read drum parts, although not to sight-reading standards.
